Dyce 1 Maud 1 (Dyce win 4-2 on penalties)

Dyce Juniors won the Grill League Cup beating Maud 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Longside's Davidson Park.

Paul Esslemont - who put Dyce in front in the second half - scored the decisive penalty and was named as the sponsors man of the match.

Maud - who equalised through Mark Lawson five minutes from time - have now finished runners up two years in a row, but their performance suggested that success is not too far away.

For Dyce, it is their second Grill League Cup triumph in three years.
